Gabriel and Gala At

The Americas y Caribe Show

Gabriel took Gala to  the Americas y Caribe Show. On the day of the Americas y Caribe competition, Gala and Gaby captured GROUP 1 honors.

Gala also earned her Uruguay Championship as well as the Americas y Caribe Championship titles while in Uruguay.

In FCI competition Gala is in the Sighthound Group. Winning this Group is not easy for the little IG at the very end of the line! Gala has the BEST owner/handler in the WORLD!

The Americas y Caribe Show is a very important show.  The show site rotates throughout South and Central America.  BelCanto is honored that we were represented at this prestigous FCI show. We are also very proud of all that Gabriel and Gala accomplished there!

After winning the Sighthound Group, Gaby and Gala made their appearance in the

Best In Show competition... 

The Best In Show line-up included representatives from all 10 FCI Groups. Ten beautiful dogs competed for BIS and 2,3,4, and 5  BIS spots. 

Gala looked lovely, both on the table and on the screen! (I am sure she is looking at herself in this photo!)

Gaby's presentation was perfect, of course! The judge, Sr. Jorge Nallem, is also President of the Kennel Club of Uruguay.

Pretty little Gala does everything Gaby asks her to do.  They are certainly a great team!

CONGRATULATIONS GABY AND GALA ON 3 BIS!  I am not sure Gala understands what all the excitement is about, but Gaby's smile says it all!

Gabriel and Gala Continue Thier Winning Ways In Brazil!

Gaby and Gala continue thier winning ways! They recently earned Group 2 from Mr. Edward Wild and Group 1 from Mr. Juan Vasconsellos and 4 Best In Show from Mr. Edward Wild at a show in Colombia. 

While in Brazil, Gaby and Gala earned 2 Group 1's

and 1 Group 2 at the Sao Paulo Kennel Club shows.  They continued their successful campaign in Brazil with back-to-back Group 1's at the Rio de Janeiro show.

Gabriel and Gala Return to COLOMBIA!

Gaby and Gala returned to Colombia in May 2009.  They are already having a very successful campaign there.  Recently they earned back-to-back Group 1's.  Gala is the #1 Italian Greyhound  and the #2 Sight Hound in the ACCC Rankings.  We couldn't be happier or more proud of Gala.  We are always greatful to Gaby for loving Gala and presenting her throughout South America.
